Natalie Portman Glams Up 2011 Independent Spirit Awards

She’s always up for a high-profile industry gig, and earlier today (February 26) Natalie Portman was spotted arriving at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The “V For Vendetta” babe looked fabulous as she posed for the press outside the beachfront tent in Santa Monica, California.

Miss Portman will be competing for some hardware in the ever-popular Best Actress category for her work in the critically-acclaimed flick “Black Swan.”

The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards will be hosted by Joel McHale and broadcast on IFC tonight at 10:00pm Eastern Time.

Angelina Jolie looked breathtaking at the 2008 Academy Awards with her hair in a half up half down style. Her brown tresses were swept away from her face, revealing gorgeous emerald earrings. Loose curls with golden blonde highlights cascaded down her tattooed back.

At the 2009 Oscars, Marion Cotillard wore her hair in a timeless French twist. The polished hairstyle had the ideal amount of height and was a picture perfect choice for the radiant star.

Kate Winslet accepted her 2009 Academy Award in glamorous fashion. Her golden locks were swept cleanly away from her face and tucked into a faux bob. The marvelous Grace Kelly inspired hairstyle left the focus on Kate's classic features and awe-inspiring earrings.

Natalie Portman was a stand-out at the 2009 Academy Awards in an unconventional pastel Rodarte evening gown. Her make-up was designed to highlight the soft floral hue of the chiffon dress. Natalie's eyes were bordered with a deep purple and faded into a soft lilac shadow.

Beyonce

Beyonce is never one to shy away from dramatic beauty looks, and for that we love her. The starlet's cat eye at the 2005 Academy Awards was intensified with a metallic line and false lashes. Beyonce drew attention to her high cheek bones by lining them with red and highlighting the apples with white shimmering powder.
