PRC Marine Board Exam Result July 2010

Manila - Philippines -  The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,787  out of 3,445 (51.82%) examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila this July 2010. A total of 166 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

The members of the Board for Marine Deck Officers who gave the licensure examinations are Capt. Jaime D. Aquino, Chairman; Capt. Mike L. Castro, Capt. Ireneo U. Delos Santos, Capt. Romeo C. Abuyuan and Capt. Marsolito A. Cruz , Members.

The results were released after three (3) working days from the last day of examinations.

The guidelines for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards are as follows:

1.) Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards will start on Monday, August 2, 2010 until August 17, 2010. They will take their oath beforethe Board on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

2.) For the purpose of attending the Mass Oathtaking on August 30, 2010, the deadline for submission of Certificates of Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork with Practical Assessment will be on Wednesday, August 11, 2010.

3.) Selling of oathtaking tickets will be from August 2, 2010 until August 26, 2010 only at the 2nd Floor, Ever Recto.

Registration for membership with the Masters and Mates Association of the Philippines, Inc. (MMAP) will start on Monday, August 2, 2010.

Optimetrist Board Exam Result July 2010

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the Optometrist board exam results as PRC announced that 50 out of 58 passed Licensure Examination given by the Board of Optometry in Manila on July 2010.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, July 26, 2010 but not later than August 6, 2010. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Sunday, August 15, 2010, 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon, at the Leyte/Samar Room, Sofitel Hotel, CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

Membership registration with the Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists, Inc. (IPAO) will start on Monday, July 26, 2010.

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the Forester board exam results as PRC announced that 151 out of 359 passed Licensure Examination given by the Board for Forester in Manilaand Davao this July 2010.

Electrical Engineer May 2010

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the Electrical Engineer board exam results as PRC announced that 3 Professional Electrical Engineers; 457 out of 1,611 Registered Electrical Engineers; and 539 out of 1,408 Registered Master Electricians passed the May 2010 licensure exams given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi. The results of examination with respect to one (1) examinee were withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Electrical Engineering are chairman: Engr. Fortunato C. Leynes; members: Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile.

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the Marine Engineer Officer board exam results as PRC announced that 1,047 out of 1,901 examinees passed the various grades of the written phase licensure exams given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) also announces that 622 examinees passed the computer based Walk-in-Examination System – Theoretical Phase for the Second Marine Engineers and Officer-In-Charge - E.W., that were held from January 1, 2010 to May 21, 2010 .

In addition, 580 applicants were approved for upgrading without examination as Chief Engineer Officers as per Board Res. No. 21 dated Feb. 4, 2010, Board Res. No. 28 dated Feb. 22, 2010, Board Res. No. 32 dated Mar. 8, 2010, Board Res. No. 43 dated Mar. 29, 2010, Board Res. No. 47 dated Apr. 14, 2010, Board Res. No. 51 dated Apr. 22, 2010, Board Res. No. 57(A) dated Apr. 30, 2010 and Board Res. No. 63 dated May 21, 2010 Series of 2010.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional and those who opted to submit ERS Assessment Certificates will be held before the Board on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Blvd., Manila.

Certificate of Competency and Certificate of Endorsement shall be distributed during the oathtaking ceremony to the Chief Engineers and Second Engineers who successfully passed the board examinations and completed the required STCW 95 compulsory training and sea service. They shall proceed to MEOD and STCW section for registration and validation as soon as possible in order to expedite the processing of the above-mentioned certificates.

Registration for membership with the Marine Engineer Officers Association of the Philippines (MEOAP) will start after registration as a professional with the board and the Commission.

LET Exam Result April 2010

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the LET Teacher board exam results as PRC announced that 4,835 elementary teachers out of 31,306 examinees (15.44%), 4 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 109 examinees (3.67%) and 6,483 secondary teachers out of 27,802 examinees (23.32%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 18, 2010 in 13 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong.

The results of examination with respect to eight (8) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensureexamination.

Marine Deck Officer February 2010 Board Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission has released the Marine Deck Officers board exam results as PRC announced that 1,823 out of 3,532 examinees passed the written phase of the the licensure exams given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers on February 2010 in Manila. And a total of 187 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

PRC Announce the Filling of Application for Nurses Licensure Exam

PRESS RELEASE: PRC ANNOUNCES THE FILING OF APPLICATION TO THE JULY 2 & 3, 2010 NURSES LIC. EXAM.

The Professional Regulation Commission announces that application to the July 3 & 4, 2009 Nurses’ Licensure Examination is now open until April 14, 2010 for Repeaters and May 14, 2010 for First Timers. Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
  1. Duly accomplished Nurses’ Application Form (NAF);
  2. NSO issued Certificate of Live Birth;
  3. NSO issued Certificate of Marriage (for married women);
  4. Transcript of Record with scanned picture and remarks: “For Board Examinations Purposes”;
  5. Record of OR-DR Cases (for 1st timers only);
  6. Summary of Related Learning Experience – (for 1st timers only);
  7. Four (4) pieces passport size (1 ½ x 1 ½) colored picture with complete name tag in white background;
  8. Community Tax Certificate;
  9. Examination Fee of P900.00;
  10. One (1) window mailing envelope; and
  11. 11. Valid Identification Card.
Applications can be filed at PRC Manila, PRC Regional Offices and its satellite offices. For those who intend to file in Manila, filing may be done at the PRC Central Office located at P. Paredes cor. N. Reyes Sts., Sampaloc, Manila or at the PRC Service Center in EVER Gotesco Mall - Recto Branch. One day campus processing of applications may also be done in some schools which will be scheduled according to zones. The venues and dates will be announced later.

There will be NO EXTENSION of the deadline. All applicants are enjoined to file early to avoid overcrowding and long queues. Only those with complete and appropriate documents will be accommodated. The Nurses’ Application Form can be downloaded at www.prc.gov.ph.

Marine Engineer Board Exam Result January 2010

he Professional Regulation Commission has released the Marine Engineer Officer board exam results as PRC announced that 1,208 out of 2,212 examinees passed the various grades of the written phase licensure exams given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila.

The composition of the Philippine Board for Marine Engineer Officers are chairman:Engr. Jose G. Abugan; vice-chairman: Engr. Miguel O. Marasigan; members:Engr. Victoriano A. Alojado, Engr. Ferdinand R. Pascua and Engr. Eldefonso G. Uba.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards for those who are exempted in the practical assessment will start on Monday, February 8, 2010 until February 26, 2010 in the Central Office; and on Monday, February 8, 2010 until February 12, 2010 in the Regional Offices.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) also announces that 478 examinees passed the computer based Walk-in-Examination System – Theoretical Phase for the Second Marine Engineers and Officer-In-Charge - E.W., that were held from September 5, 2009 to January 29, 2010.

In addition, 712 applicants were approved for upgrading without examination as Chief Engineer Officers as per Board Res. No. 129 dated Sept. 29, 2009, Board Res. No. 134 dated Oct. 07, 2009, Board Res. No. 144 dated Oct. 27, 2009, Board Res. No. 149 dated Nov. 11, 2009, Board Res. No. 156 dated Nov. 24, 2009, Board Res. No. 166 dated Dec. 21, 2009, Board Res. No. 03 dated Jan. 05, 2010, Board Res. No. 04 dated Jan. 12, 2010 and Board Res. No. 11 dated Jan. 27, 2010 Series of 2009 & 2010.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional and those who opted to submit ERS Assessment Certificates will be held before the Board on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Certificate of Competency and Certificate of Endorsement shall be distributed during the oathtaking ceremony to the Chief Engineers and Second Engineers who successfully passed the board examinations and completed the required STCW 95 compulsory training and sea service. They shall proceed to MEOD and STCW section for registration and validation as soon as possible in order to expedite the processing of the above-mentioned certificates.

Registration for membership with the Marine Engineer Officers Association of the Philippines (MEOAP) will start after registration as a professional with the board and the
Commission.
